I am claiming the moral victory in the Grand Melee last weekend - officially Michael won as the game was called for time and he had the most life. But Michael agreed that he would have been unable to penetrate the Cirlces of Protection I had in play and I would have won if the game was played through to its ending!

Fear the Done on mighty MtG players of the club. My late run has come, just in time for the Xmas Melee. Slivers...pah...I spit on them!!! Shadow.......I fear thee not!!!

We shall see oh evil one.....also, scores for the MtG Grand Melee will be announced prior to play and positions at the table determined by seeding. Highest ranked player is seated first, then the next Highest seated to his/her left etc.

This will mean that, the Highest ranked player will need to carve their way through 'better' players to win the game and lowest gets a shot at the top.

Nice going Keith. That pair of Serra's was certainly enough to do me over. Glad to hear those evil Slivers did not get through!

Two points is good going. The leader (ahem) might be on 10 and a half but two points might be good for a couple of packs come December.

Actually, does anyone have a list of the full standings? Jeremy?

Full standings will be provided before play at the next meeting and will determine seating arrangements - highest scorer is seated first, then next highest to their left etc.

Kick off will be 2pm sharp so we can guarantee a finish.
