Good to see a role-playing game at the last club meeting! Looks like there are more on the way. Craige is starting up an Oriental Adventures DnD Campaign to commence in January 2007.
He is rolling up characters at the December meeting - first five palyers who are interested are in - either email me to book a place or turn up on the 16th of December at the club.
Should be a very interesting game!
Regards,
Keith
"Fate protects fools, little children and ships named Enterprise" -- Cmdr. Riker (Contagion)
Thanks Keith & Hi all, The setting is Rokugan, a mystical medieval oriental empire sometimes called the 'Emerald Empire'. This is a reference to the stone jade which has magical protective properties against the powerful evil of the Shadowlands. It is Tiger season during the year of the Hare, early in the eleventh century and the empire is under attack both from within and outside it's borders...a small band of bushi may eventually halt the evil and uphold the code of bushido...
Please feel free to drop me a line for further information regarding character classes, concepts, etc
Hi All, The first session from 10am til' 3'ish on Sunday 17th December will be a get to know your character session; Hopefully lasting up to 2 hours, followed by a Gempukku (coming of age) ceremony during which your character will be named. This is a three day event in Rokugan, by way of a festival and competition for accolades. There may be one or two surprises ...

Hiya,
There is a (standard non Oriental Adventures) group that plays on the usual club Sunday. If the players don't enter any of the tournaments (including the DM), then it should still be running as usual.
There is no problem if the players also wish to play on Saturday, but I have not heard anything.

Hiya,
I have found muffins to be incredibly powerful. eg "If you kids clean up all your mess, then you can have a muffin."
This muffinpower can clean from 1 to 6 areas of the home, depending upon spread of mess.
Folk in our family don't tend to worry about corrupt or honest muffins since they all tend to be eaten long before antisocial tendencies arise. We certainly don't avoid the corrupt ones & we don't underestimate them!
My final point - Dear Busterbone, why such philosophical type questions when you spend all your time drinking from a toilet?
Well. its been fun, See you all tomorrow at Legends, David Muffin Power User
