The LXG BBL now has a name!
Thanks to Ado and Shags, it will be known as the Legend Bowl.
This is Round 2, but remember you can play two or more matches per round. Over the 7 rounds the maximum number of matches you can play is 15. Once you reach this limit, you'll have to wait to play any more.
This meeting was dominated by new teams. Aris and James took advantage of the pre-written team sheets to start playing with Humans and Undead respectively.
Match Reports:
Smashing Bashers 1 - 1 Dwarves of Death
Orcs and Dwarfs attempted to beat each other into the field, but couldn't get through one another's armour. Instead they traded a touchdown each and finished the match square.
Naggaroth Nancys 3 - 0 Orcadians
The Dark Elves made their presence known in the league with a crushing victory over the hapless Orcadians. The second touchdown was a travesty, coming after the Orcadians' thrower faield to pick up the ball on six attempts!
Smashing Bashers 1 - 2 Two-Headed Minders
The classic match-up between Orcs and Humans ended with the Humans taking away the honours. The Two-Headed Minders open their league play with a solid win, not bad for a bunch of in-bred peasants!
Couronne Saints 1 - 0 New Undead
The league's first Undead team suffered a defeat in their first match, but with 14 players, and two Strength 5 Mummies in the line up, watch out!
WIth no one having played more than two matches so far, and the prospect of three or more new teams entering the league for round 3, Legend Bowl I is anyone's to win!
