As Aris will be unable to attend club meetings before April, and then only maybe, there was a get together to have a couple of matches. In all, five games were played, with no team playing more than 2.
Two-Headed Minders II 0 - 1 Nurgle's Skillless Slaughterers
If no one else picks a team name as long as Shag's I'll be happy. The first match saw the team with the rotters edge out the humans. No new rotters were created though.
Smashing Bashers 3 - 0 Beaten Brass
Orcs versus Chaos Dwarfs? A walkover, or more accurately a walkthrough for the orcs. If they'd had a MA7 player they probably could have made it 5. Even the presence of Gnashrak Blackhoof could not rescue things for the hapless stunties.
Two-Headed Minders II 2 - 2 Slaughterpool
How do you feel about losing a 110,000GP player before your first match even starts? That's what happened the Slaughterpool as a Mummy was struck by a rock a killed at the kick-off. Regeneration wasn't working that day.
Nurgle's Skillless Slaughterers 0 - 1 Beaten Brass
The real score here was 3-2 to Beaten Brass - casualty score that is! After the ref was cowed into submission, the whole second half was played with no penalties for fouling - and there was plenty of it going on. Each team finished the game with 5 or 6 players left standing.
Smashing Bashers 1 - 2 Slaughterpool
Inducements? I'll show you inducements! After the loss of the Mummy in their first match, Slaughterpool had a large list to choose from against the Smashing Bashers. Count Luther von Drakenburg took to the field, and promptly scored twice for his team. A victory for the Undead and a rare defeat for the orcs, who had their troll spend most of the match unconscious.
