There was some discussion today about the future of the Blood Bowl league. I've created this poll to allow people to put their views forward. This poll will affect the organisation, rules etc for next season.
Please vote for: One only of the first 3 options. This relates to whether continuing teams are to be allowed, and if so, what is the maximum starting rating for a continuing team. Seeing your team develop is a big part of Blood Bowl, but we need to balance that against putting off new players from starting where there are lots of experienced teams around.
Option 4: If this gets up, when you play a team with a rating 300,000 or more greater than yours, you get normal inducements, plus any Kills or Serious Injuries suffered by your players are converted to Badly Hurt instead, so players will miss the rest of that match but suffer no further ill effects.
Option 5: Some people have mentioned that handing in sheets is a turn-off for some. If you want to update your sheet yourself and keep it, vote for this option.
Option 6: Vote for a website to make things easier!
Option 7: This limit is currently in place, to prevent one team type dominating the league. Vote to keep this, or make your own suggestion.
Option 8: If you don't like the current system of having to play each player once and then some open games, and would rather play whoever is available without worrying about anything else, select this option.
Also, if you have any further suggestions for the league, please put them up here for discussion. Thank-you.
I'm happy regardless, but would like to alternate between orc and skaven. I enjoy team development more than I care about league standing, so not a big fan of starting with fresh teams each season. But whatever attracts the most players gets my vote.
