Hello all i just registered on the site and hope to make my 1st meeting in august to pay my membership. In regards to minature gaming is it manditory that the figures be painted? I've a sizable 40k army but it lacks much in the way of colour coating.

IF we made people play with painted miniatures we would never get to play a game.

Just a heads up for August. We are running a tournament during that weekend for Warhammer Fantasy and a number of board games. It would likely be difficult to get a game of 40k given that most of our members will be in the tourney. Feel free to have a look in the legends thread (winter legends it is called) and to come along to the club to have a look and meet the members and committee. You may even want to join in on some of the board games that will be running over the weekend, or if you have a fantasy army you might want to play in the tourney.

Besides the Warhammer fantasy Tournament - details of other boardgame events on offer have been posted in the Legend section of the forum. basically boardgame tournaments are small, friendly games where you don't have to even have played before to participate.
